We Are Family: The Official Opening of Prague Pride Festival
Prague Pride lasts only one week, so don’t wait and enjoy it from the very first minutes! The theme of this year’s festival is FAMILY, so get ready for a big family reunion where everyone is happy, enjoying being together (sometimes after a long time or even years), and no one is judging anyone. Simply, Family United!
Head to Pride Village on Střelecký Island right after work to get into the rainbow vibe and have time to enjoy a drink with friends, shop for festival merch and other essentials at the Queershop booth, take some laughing selfies, and even check out the booths of friendly nonprofits at the tip of the island.
The stage starts playing at 5:30 PM and will ensure the mood is top-notch. The evening will be hosted by the head of Radio Wave Bára Šichanová and the versatile artist Just Karen. The events happening on the stage will be interpreted into Czech sign language. Check out the lineup below!
Střelecký Island has to go to bed at 10 PM due to the night curfew, but the party goes on! We’ll just move to the other end of Střelecký Island, where the beats of Pride Club will be in full swing at KKafe – a club party venue where everyone is welcomed with open arms. After the festival opening ceremony, there will be an opening afterparty that will keep the lights on until dawn. The ticket must be purchased separately for the opening after-party at the Pride Club.
Entrance fee – 220 CZK pre-sale on GoOut, 300 CZK at the door
Free admission for people under 15 years old, disabled people with ZTP ID + 1 accompanying person (just come to the place and present your ID). Free entry for citizens of Prague 1. Come and show your ID with your permanent address or show your rental contract and ID.

Nora Heart Attack
Dancers from the Imperial House of Waacking Czech Chapter—an international dance group founded by Waacking pioneer Tyrone Proctor—established the House of Nora dance family in 2018, which they continue to build today. House of Nora is a community that brings together all disco lovers, party groovers, and fashion hunters, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or heel height. Each Nora is an authentic being who shines on and off the dance floor, forming a glittering chosen family.
House of Nora has become a significant part of not only the Czech but also the global Waacking scene in recent years. It’s been five years since Nora first danced at Pride Village. Your annual dose of the atmosphere of the underground gay clubs of the 70s in Los Angeles will be mercilessly short this time, but all the more intense. Get ready for the Nora Heart Attack! Expect a parade of outfits that will be hot AF, some hella hot disco from DJ Jeffology, and a euphoria that words can’t describe.

Lazy Flow (FR)
For French producer and DJ Lazy Flow, dancing is not at all a trivial matter. It is a demanding art, which sows beautiful madness in the genre, connects all styles of dance-floor history, and is a one-way flight to a future that perfectly reflects what is becoming of his generation. As a lover of the Ballroom scene as much as a passionate proponent of Hip-Hop, Gala and Afro House, he toys masterfully with the sounds of the African Continent, the US East Coast, South America and the West Indies, all-the-while speaking to a gender fluid, diverse youth, doing so in the most universal, compelling language: that of energy.
His secret is perfect mastery of rhythms inherited from the pioneers of House, the icons of Ballroom (to which he upholds law of the land like no one else), the jerking of Baile Funk, UK Bass, Bouyon, and Shatta. This technical virtuosity, combined with hard daily work in the studio, gives his performances something tantalizing, rare, both demanding and unifying.
A set by Lazy Flow is utterly electrifying, familiar, easy to follow, and wonderfully confusing.
His productions, little grails that DJ’s trade to enlighten the dancefloor, are not to be outdone. His edits of hits, or his own finds, are incredibly modern deconstructions, and his compositions never let go, like his pieces produced with/for Vladimir Cauchemar, Pongo, Kiddy Smile, Meryl, Maureen… All the feelings are merged, and the dance must never stop.
It’s always when you feel like nothing is happening in music that unique and unexpected phenomena appear, black swans, as if from nowhere. Lazy Flow is one of them. Don’t miss out.
