Watch and chat: Hello, me

Queer film screening helps bring like-minded people together, challenge myths about the LGBT+ community and queer culture in general.

We hope to create a space for rethinking and breaking down stereotypes about the LGBT+ community, to witness authentic stories about LGBT+ persons and to build dialogue in the public space about the situation of the LGBT+ community in different countries.

The event will include the viewing of a film “Hello, me” (Здравствуй, Я) about Russian transgender people, about how they got to know themselves, why they decided to change their lives, and what each of us can learn from them. Moderated discussion follows.

The film screening is organized with support of LGBTQ film festival Side by Side.
