The Vietnamese community is one of the largest minorities living in Czechia. Thanks to social media, more Queer Czechs with Vietnamese roots are publicly out and proud. But what is it like in their homeland, Vietnam?

This event will explore the similarities and differences in laws and rights, particularly family laws and rights for the LGBT+ community in Vietnam and Czechia. With the help of Thanh Hoa Pride, we will share experiences of being Vietnamese and queer and what family means to the community. We will also include a section on the history of Pride in Vietnam and how it is celebrated today.
