Queerology. “Gender” as a concept and its history.

Gender Studies based seminar/discussion devoted to the key concept of the field – Gender, how it is understood now and how it used to be understood. The discussion will revolve around the history of the concept and its development, from ancient times up to nowadays. The event will include a theoretical part as well as time allocated for a moderated discussion and exchange of opinions and experiences. The theoretical material that will be presented in the event will interest both people with no previous knowledge on the matter and people well aware of it.
