Queer Salon of Haná vol. 6

Many great things have come to fruition in Haná over the past year. For the sixth time, a selection of the queerest art from traditional artists from Haná is coming to Prague, including watercolors, inks, pastels, and digital and textile works. Some artists will even let you take a peek inside their sketchbooks. Last year’s edition was dedicated to a “selection from the grapes” of all the artists whose works you have seen in the Queer Salon over the years. This year’s post-5-year-anniversary edition will present works previously unseen, by artists associated with the regular creative meetings at Picolo in Olomouc, which have been held since January 2023.

Entrance fee – voluntary, up to you

Event accessibility – suitable also for children and teenagers

Vibe check – quiet event (no loud music, shouting, etc.), standing-room-only, indoors

OLLOVE z. s. is an association of students, employees, alumni and supporters of Palacký University. As the only association in Olomouc, it is dedicated to raising awareness about LGBTQ+ issues. It organizes popular educational and cultural events for the general public, as well as other events for the local LGBTQ+ community, such as picnics, gatherings and creative meetings. It respects the rights and dignity of all people regardless of sex, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion and other differences.
