Evening of Listening and Enjoying Music

One of the new additions to this year’s Prague Pride is the Evening of Listening and Enjoying Music, which makes our team very excited. It’s also our response to your feedback from previous years. We offer you a space dedicated to music that requires concentration and quiet contemplation, with an emphasis on queer music and musicians, of course. For the first edition we decided to offer you the Prague duo Joska & Kiki and the Slovakian discovery of the recent years ERØ. Come and listen and enjoy excellent musical performances in the pleasant surroundings of Život 90.

ERØ (SK)
Erik Žigmund aka ERØ is a singer, guitarist and songwriter whose works are a combination of soul, jazz, folk and r’n’b. In the past he has collaborated with numerous Slovak artists such as Oliver Kucharovič, Michal Cálik or Nora Ibsenová. He won first place in the Demovnica competition of Radio FM as well as the Award for Musical Performance in the New Faces of Slovak Jazz competition. In the last two years he has released two albums – his debut album Útopia and another equally powerful album Child.

Joska & Kiki (CZ)
Two gals with guitars and ukuleles who don’t shy away from creating their own music, not to mention the songs of Czech and foreign pop divas. Over the course of their long friendship, they have not only formed a strong bond, but also many powerful songs that represent the best of Czech folk and acoustic music. However, the pair are not afraid to flirt with other genres – recently they unveiled a new single sweetened with disco, Wenceslas.
