Pride Cinema

If you’re looking for a more distinguished artistic experience rather than the festival frenzy, head to Pride Cinema! During rainbow week, Edison Filmhub, just a short walk from Wenceslas Square, will be screening queer flicks. They’ve put together a carefully curated program featuring films for both discerning viewers and solid mainstream lovers.

Pride Cinema is located in the former Edison Transformer Station, a notable functionalist building in Prague. After the turn of the millennium, it was sensitively renovated by architect Ladislav Lábus’s studio, making the cinema’s interior as much of an experience as the films themselves. Arrive an hour before your screening to grab a drink in the functionalist café. Sit by one of the huge windows with a view of the Church of St. Henry and Kunhuta, watch people rushing home from work, and remind yourself how good you’ve got it.

Accessibility:
The cinema is fully wheelchair accessible and accessible with a dog.
