Durex at Prague Pride: a shared journey to inclusion

The world’s number one condom seller is celebrating 95th birthday this year! Since its inception, Durex has come a long way, and nowadays its products are available worldwide. As a strong player in the field of sexual health, Durex has been actively supporting the LGBTQ+ community for many years. In collaboration with Prague Pride, Durex focuses on promoting safe sex and breaking down stigmas. With a diverse range of products and innovative campaigns, Durex not only supports safe sex, but also strengthens the values of diversity and inclusion.

95 and what is next?

Founded in 1929, Durex has become associated with quality and innovation in the field of sexual health. From its humble beginnings in a small factory in London’s East End, Durex has continually evolved to become a global leader, offering a wide range of products tailored to various needs and preferences. Although Durex is primarily associated with condoms, the brand’s portfolio has continually expanded and now includes not only condoms, but lubricants and sex toys as well.

Product diversity is crucial for Durex. From classic condoms to lubricants and toys that enhance pleasure, Durex allows everyone to find the best option for themselves, which is important not only for sexual health protection, but also for achieving the best sexual experience. Durex constantly pushes boundaries and meets consumer needs by selling nearly three billion condoms annually. Currently, the focus is on maximizing pleasure with a new range of sex toys.

Diversity and inclusion

Durex has a long history of supporting the LGBTQ+ community and nowadays is an active participant in Prague Pride. This year, Durex will be a proud sponsor of the festival’s Pride Life venue, where people of all ages, genders, professions, and life experiences will come together. Throughout the week, there will be engaging lectures on a variety of topics—from inclusion and mental health to sexual well-being.

As in previous years, Durex will be one of the main partners of the CSAP Testing Zone. The Czech AIDS Help Society (CSAP) offers free and anonymous testing for HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis throughout the year, and will provide free testing during the Prague Pride festival as well.

Durex aims to ensure safety and freedom for the best sexual experience. The brand stands not only for sexual safety but also against shaming and stigma associated with sex. Durex and Prague Pride form strong partnership that not only promotes safe sex, but also promotes the values of inclusion and diversity, which are crucial for the health and future of the whole LGBTQ+ community.
