Pride Youth
Since more and more young people are coming to Prague Pride, we felt the need to create a festival venue tailored to their needs, with the right program, in a safe environment, and in an attractive location. That place is the Scout Institute at Rybárna on Kampa, which many of you might recognize from the famous Czech film “How to Drown Dr. Mráček?”
The program, open to people under 30
offers a wide range of activities to spend your time in interesting ways. There will be discussions about what it’s like to be queer and neurodivergent or what a chosen family means. You can also enjoy a clothing swap, bracelet-making, D&D sessions, and queer sign language lessons.
Young attendees will have access to a hall and workshop room inside the building, as well as the riverside area behind it. The café will serve vegan and vegetarian meals, and the only alcoholic drink available will be beer, wine and summer cocktails with staff strictly checking IDs. Security will be present to ensure everyone’s safety.
Accessibility
Accessible only for people under age of 30. All events are free to attend. The building is not wheelchair accessible, but you can bring your dog.
