Doodles Concert
The only Czech gay choir Doodles, after returning from international performances in Nuremberg (Germany) and Bologna (Italy), will perform a wide variety of songs from different genres and in various languages at the Husův sbor Church in Vršovice. The concert will take place as part of this year’s Prague Pride Festival and its central theme will be traditions. You can look forward to songs that reflect Czech traditions as well as summer hits (actually “traditional” as well). Many of the songs will be performed in Prague for the first time, so the concert is a perfect opportunity to be the first to hear them!
Entrance fee – 200 Kč
Vibe check – large capacity event (more than 200 people, high possibility of physical contact), loud event, seating options, indoors
Organizer – Pěvecký sbor Doodles, z. s. Doodles was founded in September 2011 in Prague. Thanks to our broad musical tastes, Doodles’ repertoire includes a colorful palette of musical genres, such as Renaissance music, folk songs, classical men’s chorus music from the 19th and 20th centuries, opera, spirituals, musicals, famous melodies from the Beatles, or 80s and 90s pop. The choir sings with and without accompaniment.
