Sports Afternoon with Alcedo

Come play volleyball, badminton, and cornhole! Join Alcedo for an active afternoon where everyone can find a sport they’ll enjoy.

Volleyball is open to both beginners and experienced players. Alcedo team members will be there to help you learn the basics and introduce opportunities to train with them throughout the year.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed activity, try cornhole – a fun game that’s suitable for everyone, including families with young children.

We’ll provide all the equipment you need for badminton, so all you have to do is show up and start playing.

The history of queer people is one of movement, constant adaptation, and finding ways to thrive in a changing world. We want to celebrate that inner strength and joy through moving together. For many years, Alcedo has been creating opportunities for sport to be a source of enjoyment, free from prejudice and open to everyone.

We organize year-round training sessions for both beginners and experienced players in a safe, welcoming environment free from prejudice. We are also the proud organizers of Prague Rainbow Spring, an international multi-sport tournament for LGBTQ+ people and their friends, which brings hundreds of athletes from around the world to Prague each year. Our mission is to connect people through the joy of movement and the spirit of fair play.
