Somewhere in the Caucasus – Documentary Premiere and Discussion

In Georgia, in the bustling streets of Tbilisi, LGBT+ rights are gradually being curtailed amid a creeping atmosphere of growing Russian influence. Still, many stay and continue to fight for their freedom and future.
Somewhere in the Caucasus is a documentary portrait of Nutsa and Shako – two ordinary people who have never met, yet share a deep connection to their homeland and a determination to face increasingly difficult conditions. A sensitive glimpse into the struggles and joys of two ordinary lives in extraordinary times.
The short film premiere will be followed by a discussion featuring the film protagonists. Both the film and the discussion will be in English.
