Rakans

Rakans is a visionary artist originally coming from Beirut, a city prone to the moving tide of instability which influences his work. The oriental mosques, churches, and western malls coincide to form an avant-garde collage of culture which can be heard in his selection of music and fashion.

His sound has emotional and dramatic aspects, bringing love, sexuality, and tenderness which not only make the crowd dance hard, but also return to their primal instincts of sexual desires and pleasures, hence his residency at the infamous Pornceptual.

Rakans is the founder of Rawmantique, a safe space that’s main aim is collecting the alternative underground kids and giving them a space for explorations whether they’re sexual, social or psychological. Rakans’ flamboyant decisions with fashion and live music brought him to the center of attention from local and European collectives.
