Prague Pride Opening Night: WELCOME HOME!

This year’s festival launch is going to be absolutely spectacular – again! Get ready for an evening packed with music, hosted by Jan Witek.

Things kick off at 5:30 PM with Prague-based music artist NIKO bra, whose live sets create a space for dancing, sonic experiments, and radical connection. Prague Pride 2025 opens in a warm, synthetic embrace charged with radical tenderness.

At 7:00 PM, the stage transforms as diva Princip returns after three years with her trilogy All About The Princip. Expect an immersive performance blending electronic production, fierce dancers, and iconic guests from the Czech-Slovak queer scene. It’s tragicomic, pornographic, otherworldly drama. And you’re officially invited to the Sexbot Club, where everyone’s V.I.P.

Starting at 8 PM, get ready for a powerful show by singer Aiko, who rose to fame through Eurovision. She prepared an energetic and visually striking performance to kick off the festival with a bold dose of pop-rock vibes. Expect reimagined versions of tracks from her latest album, complete with stunning choreography and a dazzling light show. Joined by her band, Aiko will bring pure love and joy to the stage.

The night wraps with a bang thanks to Sound Spectrum – a music project you may remember lighting up Pride Village last year. This unique collaboration features a live DJ, violin, and a full professional dance crew led by choreographer Jana Bubu Pukovcová. With an explosive set of chart-topping bangers, this closing show will get your body moving.

Line up

5:30 PM
NIKO bra

Multidisciplinary artist. By day, she teaches English and math. By night, she’s crafting giant papier-mâché heads or sculpting sound while bouncing on a gym ball. Her music blends raw mechanical beats with bold synth melodies to create a pulsing, layered experience. The genre? Let’s call it mommy-friendly techno.

7 PM
Princip

Czech-born diva living in Madrid, navigating the world of queer underground and hyperpop aesthetics. Her art combines club melancholy and explicit visuals, with lyrics that satirically reflect the nihilism of our time through taboo-breaking themes.

8 PM
Aiko

Czech-Russian artist born in Moscow, raised in Czechia, and now based in Brighton, UK. Her sound carries a rich fusion of cultural influences, exploring themes of solitude, love, and self-discovery. In 2024, she proudly represented Czechia at Eurovision and became the first Czech artist featured in Spotify’s global EQUAL campaign, with her face lighting up a billboard in Times Square.

9 PM
Sound Spectrum

A fresh musical collaboration featuring DJ and vocalist Jan Witek, violinist Ondřej Vlček, and saxophonist Anastasiia Salomakhina. Their genre-bending, high-energy sets are everything but ordinary.
