Suggested Contribution 2026

For the 16th edition of Prague Pride Festival, we are introducing a suggested contribution to help support the festival.

We want to keep the festival as accessible as possible while facing rising costs, declining sponsorship, and increasing pressure on public funding. In these circumstances, suggested contribution is the fairest and most inclusive way for us to secure the festival’s future and share the responsibility for making it happen with everyone who enjoys it.

The suggested contribution is CZK 200.

  • If you’re in a position to contribute more and believe in what Prague Pride Festival stands for, we’d be grateful for your extra support. You can simply purchase the CZK 200 ticket on GoOut.cz more than once—for example, once for each day you attend. This is your festival, not just a festival organised for you.
  • If you genuinely can’t afford to contribute, please don’t worry. Your presence matters more than your money. The festival sites are open to everyone, and you will be able to access Pride Village and Pride Park just like everyone else.

Please don’t think of this as paying for a specific event. Instead, consider it a contribution towards the festival as a whole, helping to make possible dozens of events taking place throughout the week—most of them free of charge.

How it works

You can contribute online through GoOut.cz anytime, from anywhere—even right now.

You can also make your contribution when you arrive at Pride Village or Pride Park. There will be a payment point at each entrance where you can simply tap your card or phone to pay. (Cash is not accepted.)

Our volunteers will also be around Pride Village and Pride Park, gently reminding visitors about the recommended admission. They will carry payment terminals, so contributing is as easy as tapping your card or phone.

Once you’ve contributed, you’ll receive a festival wristband so our volunteers know you’ve already supported the festival. If you purchased your ticket through GoOut.cz, you can collect your wristband at the information stand at the entrance to Pride Village or Pride Park.

One exception: the Festival Opening

The only event at Pride Village that requires a separate ticket is the Festival Opening on Monday, 3 August.

Advance tickets cost CZK 150, or CZK 200 at the door. Free admission is available only to holders of disability cards (ZTP) and one accompanying person, young people under 15, and residents of Prague 1 who can provide proof of residence.

The evening will feature Jan Cina as Chica Checa Pala Santa, Laco Hudec Šubrt as Laziza Vuitton, Chi Chi Tornado, DJ Henriette, DJ Vilém, and Jan Witek as both DJ and host.

Because of its higher production costs, the Festival Opening requires a separate ticket. The suggested contribution helps support the festival as a whole but does not cover this event.

Thank you for being part of this shared approach to keeping Prague Pride Festival open and accessible for everyone.
