15 Years of Doodles: A Celebration of Gay Choirs at Bethlehem Chapel

Doodles, Prague’s gay men’s choir, has been singing for an incredible 15 years — come celebrate with us!

Join us for a unique concert on the eve of Prague’s Rainbow Parade, held in the beautiful surroundings of Bethlehem Chapel in the very heart of the city.

We are delighted to welcome two exceptional guest choirs for this unforgettable evening. Sharing the stage with Doodles will be the Mid-Atlantic Gay Men’s Chorus from the United States and MÄNNER-MINNE from Berlin, Germany. For both ensembles, this will be their first-ever performance in Prague.

Enjoy a diverse programme showcasing outstanding choral music across a wide range of genres. This is a one-of-a-kind event that won’t come around again — and we would be delighted to celebrate this milestone with you.

The concert is held under the patronage of the City of Prague. Tomáš Slabihoudek, a city councilor for the City of Prague, has assumed patronage of the event.

Doodles, the only gay men’s choir in the Czech Republic, is dedicated to challenging the social stigmas surrounding LGBTQ+ people. We believe that music helps people find common ground and creates opportunities for dialogue, even with those who may see us only through the lens of their prejudices. Through our performances and public presence, we strive to show that a society built on mutual respect — one in which everyone can be themselves — is a better place for all of us.
