Our Rights, Our Safety: The Queer Community in Czechia Today (UA)

Is our country a place where queer people can feel safe?

This interactive workshop will connect the legal framework of hate crime protection with practical tips for personal safety. Participants will learn about their legal options in case of an attack, how to avoid risky situations, and how to protect their own safety.

We’ll also take a look at the historical development of queer rights and status in Czechia, explore the current state of equality, and discuss where the system supports us—and where it still fails. What can we do together to truly feel at home in this country?

This gathering is designed as a space for dialogue and sharing experiences between people from Ukraine and the local community.

No registration required. Just come and join in!

The event will be held in Ukrainian.
