Neurodivergent Safespace

What challenges do neurodivergent people face within queer and trans contexts? What opportunities and pitfalls come with (self-)diagnosis? Join us in a neurodivergent safespace, held in two parts:

First, a chill, informal panel discussion on these very topics.
Then, the audience will have a chance to join in – ask questions not yet answered and share your own insights and lived experiences.

There will be some chairs, yoga mats, and fatboys to sit on. The event is designed as a calm, neurodivergent-friendly safespace, with no microphones and fidget toys available to borrow.

Guests
Huyen (they/them) – a Czech-Vietnamese media student at the Charles University and a nonbinary aromantic lesbian that loves music and is without an official diagnosis.

James (he/him) – a student of anthropology at Masaryk University. He is trans and bi, doesn’t have an official diagnosis, and lists autism among his hobbies.

Host
Cecil/Isaac (they/he), a nonbinary ace lesbian with an ADHD diagnosis who loves cinematography, drawing and dogs.

Part of the program is designed and produced by the organizing team itself; the rest is curated by non-profit organizations, companies, and passionate individuals who contribute to creating one of the largest cultural events in the Czech Republic. The theme of Prague Pride Festival 2025 is “Where Is My Home?”
