How do places and spaces influence and shape our ability to embrace and build queer identities? Which physical locations represent the “closet” for us, and which ones are safe spaces where we can be our authentic selves?

We’ll discuss the role of neighborhoods, cities, towns, and states in relation to our queerness – where we feel comfortable and why, and where we hide or feel invisible.
