Picnic Pride Youth

Not in the mood for a scheduled event? Would you rather just hang out in a friendly, relaxed space surrounded by trees, water, and nature?
Come join our picnic for queer young people aged 13–21, taking place every weekday during the festival just outside Pride Youth.
Expect a laid-back afternoon with plenty of time to chat, meet new people, play games, and simply enjoy being together. Feel like bringing your favourite board game? Want to share a creative activity you love? Or maybe bring a musical instrument? We’d love that—make yourself at home and join in.
If you can, bring a blanket and something to eat or drink. And don’t forget sunscreen and anything else you need to stay comfortable in the summer sun.
If you have any access needs, disabilities, or other requirements—whether physical, mental, neurodivergent, or related to your social or cultural background—please get in touch with our contact person, Haru (haru.spindler@gmail.com, WhatsApp: +420 739 623 922). Haru will be happy to talk with you about accessibility and help you decide whether this event is a good fit for you.
Entrance fee – free
Accessibility – suitable also for teenagers, accessible with a dog
Vibe check – small event (approx. 30 people), quiet (no loud music, shouting, etc.), requires interacting with the audience or other attendees, seating options, outdoors
Organized by – Queer & Trans Youth CZ
Queer & Trans Youth is a youth-led organisation and part of the Trans*parent family. Our activities are planned and organised by young people for young people. Our mission is to create an inclusive and safe community for queer youth, raise awareness about the rights of LGBTQ+ young people, find strength together, have fun, and share our stories with the world. Our values are solidarity, diversity, and active participation. We strive to care for ourselves and for one another, and we see mental wellbeing as a path towards greater resilience.
