Pride Ride 2026

Join a motorcycle ride organised by LMC Czechia (Leather Motorcycle Club Czechia / Leather Men Club Czechia) and Teplá Strela, a group of LGBTQ+ motorcyclists from Czechia and Slovakia.
Prague Pride Festival is about much more than the parade. Throughout the week, a wide variety of events take place across the city, and this year LMC Czechia — whose members include many motorcycle enthusiasts — has decided to contribute something a little different to the festival programme. Our aim is to offer fellow motorcycle lovers, both LGBTQ+ and beyond, a unique experience while introducing our community to the public from a less familiar perspective: as people who love motorcycles, engineering, and the smell of petrol.
If you share our passion, we invite you to join us for a ride along the route Prague – Terezín – Máchovo Lake – Mělník – Prague.
The first part of the journey takes us to Terezín, where, as part of Prague Pride Festival, we will pay tribute at the National Cemetery to all those who fought for freedom, democracy, and equality. We will especially honour LGBTQ+ people who lost their lives because they openly embraced their identity, took part in the struggle for LGBTQ+ rights, or became targets of hatred simply because they were perceived as different. In the Czech Republic, we can think of no more fitting place for such a commemoration than Terezín. Unlike cities such as Amsterdam, which has a dedicated memorial to LGBTQ+ victims, no such memorial currently exists here.

Organized by – LMC Czechia
LMC Czechia brings together men who are interested in the leather movement, the leather lifestyle, and leather itself. The organisation serves as a community-focused association dedicated to supporting the development of the LGBTQ+ movement and fostering a more open and inclusive society in the Czech Republic. Leather culture emerged in the United States in the 1950s as a form of resistance to the social norms of post-war mainstream America. It grew out of motorcycle culture, whose members were often perceived as masculine and independent. This attracted many gay men who felt constrained by stereotypes portraying them as inherently effeminate and were looking for alternative ways to express their identity.
