For many young queer people, the journey to finding a sense of home, a safe space—or even themselves—can be incredibly challenging. But you’re not alone.
At this event, you’ll hear from several members of the Queer & Trans Youth organizing team, whom you might recognize from past events. They will share their personal stories about how they found themselves or their safe spaces, the obstacles they’ve faced, and more.
Most importantly, this event will offer a safe and welcoming environment where you can ask anything—and if you feel comfortable, share something of your own at the end.
Events in Pride Youth are intended for people under 30.

QTY is a youth-led, grass roots organization, part of the Trans*parent family. Activities are planned and organized by young people for young people. Our mission is to create an inclusive, safe, queer youth community, to raise consciousness about LGBT+ youth rights, find strength together, have fun and tell our stories to the world. Our values are solidarity, diversity and participation. We aim for self- and collective care and wellbeing for resilience.
