Change brings relief to some and threatens others. But for all of us, it demands that we repeatedly search for our own way to stay grounded within it.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>The history of queer people is a&nbsp;history of adaptation, resistance, and creating new narratives. We know how to change ways of living, how to build both traditional and non-traditional families, how to redefine love, the body, language, and home. We know how to rise even when things get worse. We know that what exists today may not exist tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>Queer communities are laboratories of the future. What seems radical today will be ordinary tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Right now:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Political landscapes are shifting \u2014 and with them the space for human rights.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Language is changing \u2014 how we speak about ourselves, about others, about the world.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Structures of power and community structures are being transformed.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Prague Pride is changing, too.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>Change is sometimes fought for and sometimes forced. Sometimes it liberates us; sometimes it hurts. Sometimes it arrives slowly and sometimes suddenly.<br><br>But change is life. And times simply change.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>That is why we want to ask these questions together with you:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>What is changing \u2014 in society, culture, politics, communities, and within ourselves?<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Which changes do we welcome, and which ones threaten us?<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>When does change bring freedom \u2014 and when does it bring uncertainty?<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>How do we hold on to ourselves when everything around us is in motion?<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>How can we support one another as times continue to shift?<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In our programme, we want to explore these areas:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>~ Queer Is Changing ~<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>Queer people have never been a&nbsp;homogeneous community \u2014 and today it\u2019s more visible than ever. Generations sharing the same space use different languages, different symbols, and different ideas of what it means to be queer, to be LGBTQ+, to embody pride. How do we hold together a&nbsp;world that is not homogeneous? How do we build dialogue among people from different regions, different social realities, and different currents within queer people\u2014 without losing cohesion? How do we create structures of safety where they are missing, and how do we open space for one another?<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>~ The World Is Changing ~<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>We live in turbulent times. Politics, media, ecology, technology, work, and the economy are all undergoing transformation. How is cultural, political, and social change unfolding? And what challenges \u2014 and joys \u2014 does it bring to queer people?<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>~ We Are Changing the World ~<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>Change is not an abstract idea. It happens through concrete gestures \u2014 in moments when we come together, when we stand up for ourselves and for others, when we create spaces of care, safety, and solidarity.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>Does pride itself need to change in order to respond to the challenges of our time? How can we live pride in an era of transformation?<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PS:<\/strong> Pride is a&nbsp;shared network \u2014 an organism shaped by people who believe that the world can be moved forward through small everyday actions and large symbolic gestures. It is a&nbsp;place where activism meets care, courage meets vulnerability, and community meets individual stories. <\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are a&nbsp;resonant voice, a&nbsp;network of mutual support, an awareness that the world is changing \u2014 and we are changing with it.<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Times Are Changing.
