A mixed-media art exhibition traces key moments in Czech history through the lens of LGBTQ+ memory, identity, and visibility. Rather than presenting a strict chronology, it offers a visual journey through the stories, experiences, and struggles that have shaped queer lives across different eras.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Through collage, painting, and other visual art forms, the exhibition explores how love, identity, the body, and community have been influenced by social and political change. Each artwork serves as a fragment of memory, reflecting themes of silence, resistance, transformation, and pride.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The exhibition invites visitors to look beyond major political events and historical milestones, and to discover history through the lives, emotions, and experiences of people whose stories were often overlooked and erased from official narratives.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Trigger warnings<\/strong> – please note that part of the exhibition includes nude or semi-nude bodies and addresses sensitive historical topics, including the persecution and murder of homosexual men during the Nazi occupation, as well as the silence, control, and invisibility experienced during the communist era. The exhibition approaches these themes with respect, sensitivity, and an artistic intention to reflect on memory, identity, resistance, and dignity.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Dorado Coffee, a popular caf\u00e9 in Kinsk\u00fd Garden, transforms into the Pride Caf\u00e9 for Pride Week, offering an inviting programme for English-speaking visitors. Combining a caf\u00e9, gallery, and garden in one space, it provides a unique atmosphere in the heart of Prague.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
