The Saturday parade is the most anticipated moment of Prague Pride week. And the best part? The fun doesn\u2019t end at the finish line \u2013 it continues with an afternoon and evening full of music, refreshing food and drinks, and unforgettable encounters.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

Come and march to show that you love this country. Mushroom picking, a dog in every family, football, or goulash made of sausages \u2013 these are all things enjoyed by people regardless of their relationship and sexual orientation or gender identity. And yes, it\u2019s sometimes damn hard to feel a connection with a homeland that treats you like a second-class citizen.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Meeting Point \u2013 Lower of Wenceslas Square<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

We’ll start gathering around 11:00 AM in the lower section of Wenceslas Square. The Parade Stage by the W Prague hotel will be taken over by the fabulous DJ B\u00e1j\u00ed<\/strong> and the actress & singer Eli\u0161ka Soukupov\u00e1<\/strong>. They’ll be joined by DJ and music curator teddyfromthebox <\/strong>from W Prague hotel. Together, they’ll bring the energy and get the crowd moving!<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

Grab your rainbow accessories<\/strong> at the Queershop<\/strong> stalls. Hard Rock Caf\u00e9<\/strong> will also offer rainbow merch, with 20% of proceeds supporting the festival.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

Head to the Make-up Corner<\/strong> for a glam session in Sephora on Vodi\u010dkova street or Na P\u0159\u00edkop\u011b street.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

Make yourself visible \u2013 and heard! Create a sign at our protest sign workshop stall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Stay hydrated! Free water and ice cream<\/strong> will be distributed onsite.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Accessible toilets <\/strong>are located on Templova Street (next to Kolacherie) and in the My\u0161\u00e1k Gallery.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

And most importantly, there will be two booths at Wenceslas Square where you can either buy your Pride Park wristband for CZK 200 or pick it up by showing your QR code from your online purchase at GoOut.cz<\/a>. With the wristband, you’ll be able to enter the Pride Park area at Letn\u00e1 without delay.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

At exactly 12:00 PM<\/strong>, we march! We’ll move from M\u016fstek into Na P\u0159\u00edkop\u011b Street.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The parade will lead us through Na P\u0159\u00edkop\u011b, Revolu\u010dn\u00ed and Dlouh\u00e1, across Old Town Square, and up Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017esk\u00e1 Street to \u010cech\u016fv Bridge. From there, we climb the stairs to Letn\u00e1 and dash into Pride Park!<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

It\u2019s a little over 3 kilometers \u2013 so wear comfy shoes and pack enough non-alcoholic drinks. Please recycle empty containers and don\u2019t toss them into general waste bins.<\/strong> Along the route, you’ll find plastic recycling bins. If you can\u2019t find one, just carry your empty bottle or can to the park. In Pride Park, recycling points will be available. Look out for our \u201cEvery Can Counts<\/strong>\u201d team collecting empty cans along the route and near the Letn\u00e1 stairs.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

Sustainability matters! No combustion engine vehicles will be in the parade. Our proud partner \u0160koda Enyaq Coup\u00e9 Respectline \u2013 fully electric \u2013 will lead the way.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Eight music points along the route will keep you moving and grooving<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

We expect the parade to reach Pride Park at Letn\u00e1 shortly after 2:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The parade will be secured by police, a private security agency, and trained volunteers (clearly marked with reflective vests) equipped with radios to quickly coordinate with police command. Our organizing team is committed to keeping the event free from hate \u2013 especially expressions of homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism, and antisemitism \u2013 in accordance with the right of peaceful assembly.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Medical staff from the Red Cross will be on hand for sudden illnesses, heatstroke, or a twisted ankle (especially if you\u2019ve gone all-in on high heels!).<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

\n \n

Your safety and comfort are your responsibility too: bring water, sunscreen, and a hat. Leave alcohol and drugs at home. Wear footwear suitable for cobblestones and stair-climbing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

A low-floor, air-conditioned tram with a wheelchair-accessible platform<\/strong> will again operate between \u010cech\u016fv Bridge and Pride Park Letn\u00e1 (normally Korunova\u010dn\u00ed\/Sparta stop). This tram will only open doors at these two stops \u2013 no unexpected homophobe passengers, promise! Security will also be onboard.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The tram is primarily for wheelchair users, people with mobility issues, strollers, and small children \u2013 but anyone can hop on if there\u2019s room.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n
