This is our vision, and we do our best to fulfill it. Of course, it\u2019s easier said than done. We face limitations such as the inaccessibility of historic buildings, the financial demands of translations, and the staffing capacity required to provide the services we want to offer. Still, accessibility is always on our minds, and we continuously strive to improve it.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have adapted the festival website so that it is accessible to people with visual impairments. Screen reader applications can read our articles as well as the full festival programme.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>People with limited mobility can access most festival venues<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride Caf\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caf\u00e9 Dorado Kinsk\u00fd is fully wheelchair accessible, including an accessible toilet. There are a&nbsp;few steps leading to the terrace, but wheelchair users can use an alternative entrance that is fully accessible. Staff will be happy to assist.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride Cinema<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both the caf\u00e9 and cinema spaces at Edison Filmhub are accessible. Please use the side entrance from Jeruzal\u00e9msk\u00e1 Street. An accessible toilet is available.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride House<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The French Institute building is accessible via an elevator, and accessible toilets are available.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride Parade<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The route of this year&#8217;s&nbsp;parade is changing, but we certainly won&#8217;t miss out on a&nbsp;beautiful walk through the historic heart of Prague. As in previous years, the parade will set off from the lower end of Wenceslas Square and continue along Na P\u0159\u00edkop\u011b and Celetn\u00e1 streets, passing through Old Town Square and into Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017esk\u00e1 Street. From there, the route will turn onto Dvo\u0159\u00e1k Embankment and follow the river via Ludv\u00edk Svoboda Embankment, continuing across Hl\u00e1vka Bridge to \u0160tvanice Island. The route is slightly longer than in previous years, but there is one welcome change: no more climbing the stairs up to Letn\u00e1. The parade route consists of asphalt surfaces and historic cobblestones.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride Park<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0160tvanice Island is accessible via barrier-free routes. From the HolKa footbridge, there is a&nbsp;gradual ramp, and from the Hl\u00e1vk\u016fv most tram stop, you can use an elevator. The island has recently been revitalized\u2014main paths are paved or otherwise reinforced, making them suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. An accessible toilet will be available.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride Village<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">St\u0159eleck\u00fd Island is accessible via an elevator. Accessible toilets are also available in the bridge pillar (paid).<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pride Youth<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the historic building of the Scout Institute \u2013 Ryb\u00e1rna is not wheelchair accessible.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-columns\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-image\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/festival.praguepride.com\/app\/uploads\/2024\/06\/20230807_Zahajeni_Svobodova-6301-1280x0-c-default.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17187\"><\/figure>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We also care about the mental well-being of festival participants. In Pride Village and Pride Park, you\u2019ll find <strong>Pride HideOUT powered by Sephora<\/strong>\u2014a refuge from the festival buzz. It\u2019s a&nbsp;calm, quiet zone with cushions where you can take a&nbsp;break from the crowds. Earplugs are available, and you can also talk to crisis support professionals.
