That\u2019s why ensuring all events run smoothly is absolutely essential for us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Safety planning begins long before the festival itself. We work closely with <strong>the police, a&nbsp;security agency, and other institutions<\/strong> (such as the regional public health office). Together, they help us ensure not only a&nbsp;peaceful Pride Parade on Saturday, but also a&nbsp;welcoming and safe environment at each festival venue and throughout the streets of Prague. If you see people in police or security uniforms at any festival event, there\u2019s no need to worry\u2014they\u2019re there for your safety too. Treat them in a&nbsp;friendly and relaxed way, and allow them to do their job by respecting their instructions.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Prevent Unpleasant Experiences<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make sure everyone has a&nbsp;great time, the first step is treating each other with kindness and respect. Transparent communication and setting boundaries are among our core values\u2014they help us co-create a&nbsp;safer festival environment. As organizers, we can set community guidelines, but only by respecting them together can we ensure everyone feels comfortable. Please follow them at all official festival venues and event spaces.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Respect<\/strong> others, including their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Don\u2019t hesitate to ask if you\u2019re unsure about something.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Do not insult<\/strong> others based on their appearance or body.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Avoid<\/strong> stereotypes and give others space to speak freely about their religion, sexuality, and gender. If a&nbsp;topic makes you uncomfortable, it\u2019s okay to excuse yourself and leave.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Avoid<\/strong> transphobia, homophobia, biphobia, intersexphobia\u2014as well as sexism, misogyny, xenophobia, and racism.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>\u201cNo\u201d means \u201cno.\u201d<\/strong> Always respect it. If someone lets you know your behavior or words are uncomfortable for them, take it seriously. This especially applies to unwanted touching, comments, or propositions. <strong>Sexual harassment is not tolerated.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Only take photos or videos with explicit consent<\/strong>. The same applies to sharing or publishing them. Don\u2019t be afraid to ask\u2014and don\u2019t be afraid to say no.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Sex, health, and other personal topics are not taboo<\/strong>, but remember that festival attendees are diverse, and not everyone wants to discuss them. At the same time, don\u2019t be surprised if these topics come up\u2014they matter and there\u2019s no need to fear them. Set your own boundaries and expectations for the events you attend. It\u2019s okay to leave spaces where you don\u2019t feel comfortable.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li><strong>Try to de-escalate conflicts<\/strong> by focusing empathetically on resolving the situation together.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<li>If you have a&nbsp;<strong>problem<\/strong> with another visitor, please inform the organizing team. You can recognize them by their official lanyards.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>There are also a&nbsp;few key rules where violations may have consequences. In serious cases, this can include being asked to leave the festival area\u2014without a&nbsp;refund if the venue required paid admission:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Do not bring weapons, pyrotechnics, glass bottles, alcohol, or drugs.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Do not disrupt the event\u2014this includes inappropriate interference with performances, workshops, discussions, and similar activities.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Hate has no place here. This includes not only hate speech but also actions like tearing down rainbow flags.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Public sex does not belong in festival spaces.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Arrive with a&nbsp;clear head and keep your consumption under control\u2014do not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We co-create the festival atmosphere together, and we truly appreciate your help in making this a&nbsp;respectful and welcoming space.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preventive Measures for Your Comfort<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can recharge your mental well-being at <strong>Pride HideOUT powered by Sephora<\/strong> in Pride Village and Pride Park. It\u2019s a&nbsp;calm, quiet space with cozy cushions where you can step away from the crowd, use earplugs, close your eyes, ease an oncoming panic attack, or talk to a&nbsp;crisis support professional.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Free Durex condoms<\/strong> will be available at Pride Village and Pride Park. Remember: consent is just as essential as a&nbsp;condom.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Free and anonymous testing for HIV<\/strong> and other sexually transmitted infections will be available in Pride Village and on Saturday in Pride Park.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entry to the Pride Park Area<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, for the first time in many years, Pride Park will not take place at Letn\u00e1. After the parade, <strong>the Saturday program will be held on \u0160tvanice Island<\/strong>, which offers a&nbsp;different kind of experience\u2014shade from mature trees, refreshing proximity to the river, a&nbsp;strong sense of connection, and the unique intimacy of an island in the middle of the city. It\u2019s a&nbsp;space where we can disconnect a&nbsp;little from the heteronormative world outside.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0160tvanice is accessible from several directions:<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Take a&nbsp;tram to Hl\u00e1vk\u016fv bridge and walk down the stairs to the island.<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Walk from Vltavsk\u00e1 or Florenc metro stations (about 10\u201315 minutes).<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-list-item\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<li>Use the new HolKa footbridge, accessible from Hole\u0161ovice (near the Market Hall) or Karl\u00edn (from Rohansk\u00e9 n\u00e1b\u0159e\u017e\u00ed).<\/li>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Entry to Pride Park 2026 is voluntary<\/strong>. We\u2019ve chosen this model to keep the festival as accessible as possible while facing rising costs and reduced sponsor support. Every contribution helps. <strong>The recommended amount is CZK 300<\/strong>. While contributions are collected at the entrance to Pride Park, they support the entire festival\u2014not just the Saturday program.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are not allowed to bring weapons or glass into Pride Park. You may bring water, food, or an umbrella in your backpack. Dogs are allowed, but due to noise and heat, we do not recommend bringing them\u2014your four-legged companion will likely be more comfortable elsewhere.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to Do If a&nbsp;Problem Arises<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a&nbsp;situation escalates into a&nbsp;conflict that threatens you or others, <strong>contact the police immediately by calling 158<\/strong>. The police have strategies and systems in place to assist you as quickly and effectively as possible. This applies both at festival venues and outside the festival (for example, when heading home at night).<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If police officers are nearby, approach them directly. In a&nbsp;crisis, call out <strong>\u201cPomoc!\u201d (Help!)<\/strong> or <strong>\u201cHo\u0159\u00ed!\u201d (Fire!)<\/strong>. At official festival locations, you can also notify the organizing team\u2014they wear Prague Pride Festival lanyards and can quickly contact the police.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For non-urgent issues, <strong>turn to the organizing team<\/strong>. They are present at festival events and can also be found at the Prague Pride info booth in Pride Village and Pride Park on \u0160tvanice.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Don\u2019t Stay Silent About Hate Crime<\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hope it won\u2019t happen, but there is a&nbsp;possibility that you may encounter <strong>hate-motivated violence<\/strong> targeting LGBT+ people during the festival. This can include <strong>physical assault<\/strong>, <strong>verbal abuse<\/strong>, <strong>discrimination<\/strong>, <strong>online harassment<\/strong>, and more. Even serious verbal attacks can be criminal offenses. It\u2019s important not to stay silent\u2014reporting helps ensure these incidents are recognized and not dismissed as something that \u201cdoesn\u2019t happen here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don\u2019t have to go directly to the police. You can <strong>contact In IUSTITIA<\/strong>, an organization that tracks hate crime and provides support. They offer legal and social assistance and can accompany you to the police if you decide to report an incident.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n    u-pb--400  \">\n  \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During festival week, their helpline capacity is increased.
