No matter if the path has been full of sunshine or full of thorns. A&nbsp;family is a&nbsp;set of beliefs and opinions about the world and how things should be done. We do things this way at home, how about you?<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>A family passes down traditions.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>Family are those we have chosen to be our family. Family are our dogs, our cats, our guinea pigs, our fish.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>A family is made up of a&nbsp;father, a&nbsp;mother and children, we hear from pulpits and parliamentary benches.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>According to childcare reformer Zden\u011bk Mat\u011bj\u010dek, a&nbsp;family is a&nbsp;community that shares its time, space, anxieties, and hopes, where all learn life skills by living together, where all give and receive, form their personalities and have the opportunity to mature into wisdom, and where mutually shared joy is an essential component of everything.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A family is a&nbsp;community of people who consider themselves to be one.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>There have always been queer families. <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>So it&#8217;s&nbsp;okay to be scared and not know what to think about things because you&#8217;ve never talked about them at home. Come to our festival and we can talk about them together.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-heading\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Questions we want to seek answers to:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block\n  block--core-paragraph\n  block--align-none\n      \">\n  \n<p>What is a&nbsp;family anyway?<br>What have our families taught us?<br>What kind of family do we want to have? Do we want to have one? And if we do already have one, how do we ensure that everyone feels good in it?<br>How do families come into being and how do they cease to exist?<br>How to live in a&nbsp;family?<br>That&#8217;s&nbsp;how we do it in my family, how does yours do it?<br>Do Pride festivals create a&nbsp;sense of belonging (to a&nbsp;family)?
