Chat with experts from Project Parafilik about different forms of sexual preferences.

Project Parafilik (Czech website at www.parafilik.cz) operates at the National Institute of Mental Health and offers online counseling, crisis intervention, and both contact and online support to anyone who needs to confront topics related to atypical sexual preferences (paraphilias). In addition to working directly with clients, Project Parafilik also focuses on destigmatizing the topic of paraphilias among the general and professional public and conducts research on the topic. As a part of the Prague Pride festival, Projekt Parafilik will offer a popularizing lecture in which the subject of paraphilias will be presented, as well as the most common topics that clients bring up when starting care, the possibilities of psychotherapeutic work in this area, and other interesting facts. The lecture will be followed by a discussion with experts from the Project Parafilik about anything the audience might want to know about the topic of paraphilias.

Project Parafilik operating at the National Institute of Mental Health offers online counseling, crisis intervention, and both contact and online therapy for people with paraphilic preferences and their loved ones. The accessibility of this help is mainly assured by providing the service anonymously and free of charge. It builds on successful prevention projects and programs from all over the world, such as Stop It Now! and StopSO in the UK, PrevenTell in Sweden, and I can change or Kein Täter werden in Germany, which has been running since 2005.
