Black Tar Jesus

Sometimes a band, sometimes solo performances, sometimes in hibernation… Black Tar Jesus is a musical project founded in 2012 by Tomáš Kopáček, a queer artist, guitarist and singer. Black Tar Jesus has played countless concerts and released three full-length albums. The most recent, titled Year Insane, was nominated for Vinyla Music Awards Album of the Year in 2020. The latest release from Black Tar Jesus is the two-track single Once Again/Some Other Way, a collaboration with producer Oliver Torr.
